foundation session
September 14-December 12, 2026
For the first time, our September-December season will be dedicated entirely to foundation training and skill development rather than preparing for a production. Students will continue to take classes in dance, musical theater, and aerial arts, but instead of spending class time learning show material, they will have the opportunity to focus deeply on technique, strength, artistry, and mastering new skills.
This is not a semester without a show—it is a semester devoted to the foundation that makes great performances possible. By removing the pressure of rehearsal and production deadlines, students can progress more quickly, receive more individualized instruction, and build the confidence and technical skills that will elevate their future performances.
At the end of the session, families will be invited to a special Parent Observation Week, where they can step into the classroom and see firsthand the growth, dedication, and accomplishments their children have achieved throughout the semester. And don’t worry—the stage isn’t going anywhere! Students will return to a full-scale production experience during our January-May, Production Session, culminating in our annual performance in May 2027.
