As NPAA continues to grow, we are now operating as a formally registered business in Costa Rica and are required to collect applicable Costa Rican taxes. The standard IVA rate is 13%. We are currently working to determine whether NPAA qualifies for the reduced tax rate available to certain educational programs. Until that determination is finalized, families should plan for up to 13% IVA in addition to the tuition rates listed above. We will pass along any reduced rate as soon as it is confirmed.
